Chicken Nasi Lemak (IDR 35k)
Served in a bento box, Bong Kopitown's rendition of nasi lemak was pretty decent. Surprisingly, the coconut rice was fragrant and well seasoned despite of my low expectation of it to be bland. On the other hand, the fried chicken, tempe orek and teri kacang were rather ordinary. However, I can compliment the sambal as it was quite delicious.
Kwetiaw Goreng (I do not remember the price tag :p)
Bong Kopitown might not be a specialty in frying kway tiao. The dish lost its char flavour which a good plate of kway tiao goreng required to have. Furthermore, flavor wise, it's too sweet for my liking.
Ice Milo Dinosaurs (IDR 25k) & Ice Teh Tarik (Large IDR 18k)
As me and my friend was missing Singapore, so we decided to order our favourite Ice Milo Dinosaurs, which was the usual milo milk chocolate with sprinkles of milo dust on top and Ice Teh Tarik. Unfortunately, the milo available in Indonesia is not Australian made which is more chocolatey. Hence, I do not blame Bong Kopitown's milo was too sweet as you can not actually find the good one unless the restaurant owners willing to spend more for the Australia made.
Based on my visit, I would love to comeback again for their nasi lemak and try their signature dishes which like nasi penjara, mie goreng penang and ote-ote.
